Slopes covered with small terraced fields for barley and oats. We'll loop through Toubkal National Park, and also through more remote valleys where we'll encounter only a shepherd with his herd of goats and sheep. The varied approach allows ample time to acclimatize to the altitude. This makes Morocco's highest peak – Jebel Toubkal – accessible to everyone. Take it easy, that's the best guarantee of success. And once you reach the top: what an experience "on top of the world" with views of all the other peaks!

The path is very steep at first, then gradually becomes easier, though the air grows thinner. This may cause headaches or nausea, so paracetamol is recommended. The most important advice is to take it slow, as walking slowly is the best way to acclimatize. The ascent takes about four hours, and the descent back to the refuge about two and a half hours, depending on the group.
