Day 1: Arrival in Casablanca
For Transavia travelers: Departure from Amsterdam at 9:30 AM – Arrival in Casablanca at 1:10 PM. After passport control and customs, we head to the Corniche, the waterfront boulevard, home to the largest mosque in Morocco: the Hassan II Mosque. Along with the Tinmel Mosque, it is the only one in Morocco open to non-Muslims. Open from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, entry is approximately €12 (not included). We will also stop at Rick’s Café, made famous by the cult film "Casablanca". After a short tour of the economic capital's historic center, we settle into our Moroccan-style hotel.

Day 2: Casablanca to Rabat
We drive north toward Rabat, the first of the four Imperial Cities. We visit the Mausoleum of Mohammed V. Rabat is the political and administrative capital, often called the "The Hague of Morocco." We will stay in a charming riad in the heart of the medina and visit the Kasbah of the Udayas.

Day 3: Rabat to Chefchaouen
We head inland toward the Rif Mountains to discover the "Blue Pearl," Chefchaouen. This typical village is famous for its blue and white houses. Its name means "look at the horns," referring to the mountain peaks.

Day 4: Exploring Chefchaouen or Nature Walk
A free day to explore the restored Kasbah and its museum of Amazigh (Berber) costumes. Alternatively, a guided hike in the surrounding mountains is available (bring good hiking shoes).

Day 5: Chefchaouen to Fes
We cross the Rif Mountains to reach Fes, the oldest royal city. We will visit the historic center, Fes el Bali, and admire the Royal Palace at Fes el Jdid.

Day 6: Discovering Fes
Fes is a medieval marvel. A key tip: if the ground slopes down, you are heading toward the river. Highlights include the Madrasa (ancient Quranic school) and the famous, photogenic tanneries.

Day 7: Volubilis, Moulay Idriss, and Meknes
We visit the Roman ruins of Volubilis and the hilltop village of Moulay Idriss before arriving in Meknes, the "Versailles of Morocco."

Day 8: Discovering Meknes
We explore El-Hedim Square and the magnificent Bab Mansour gate. We will also see the Dar el-Ma (Water House) and the Heri es Souani (Granary), which once housed thousands of horses.

Day 9: Through the Middle Atlas to Midelt
A scenic drive through cedar forests. We visit the source of the Oum Er-Rbia river before reaching the high desert plateaus near Midelt.

Day 10: Midelt to Merzouga Dunes
We head south through the Ziz Gorges to the Erg Chebbi dunes. We will trek by camel to a Bedouin camp in the desert to watch the sunset and sleep under the stars.

Dinner and Overnight: Bedouin desert camp.
Day 11: Merzouga to the Valley of 1,000 Kasbahs
After sunrise, we ride camels back for breakfast. We then explore the Todra and Dades Gorges, witnessing the mud fortresses (kasbahs) nestled in green oases.

Day 12: Valley of 1,000 Kasbahs to Marrakech
We visit the UNESCO site of Ait Benhaddou (a famous caravan stop) before crossing the Tizi n'Tichka pass in the High Atlas Mountains to reach Marrakech.

Overnight: Riad in Marrakech.
Day 13: Discovering Marrakech
A guided tour of the "Red City," including historic monuments, the vibrant Jemaa el-Fna square, and the traditional souks (markets).

Overnight: Riad in Marrakech.
Day 14: Majorelle Garden or Berber Villages
Visit the Majorelle Garden (formerly owned by Yves Saint Laurent) or take a day trip to Berber villages. We end with a farewell dinner and a final stroll through Jemaa El Fna.

Day 15: Transfer to Airport
Private transfer to the airport. Options to extend the stay in Marrakech or visit Essaouira are available.
