Day 1 – Jeep Adventure Marrakech, Sahara Desert & the Coast
Arrival at Marrakech Airport – transfer to riad hotel in the medina

Marrakech Airport is less than half an hour from the old city center, the medina. Upon arrival, everyone is personally met at the airport and transferred to a charming riad hotel in the historic, walled city center of Marrakech. In the evening, we naturally visit the famous Jemaa el-Fna Square, where every night is a true spectacle with street performers and food stalls. We enjoy a welcome dinner together.

Day 2 – Jeep Adventure Marrakech, Sahara Desert & the Coast
Start of the jeep adventure to the south: the caravan route to Aït Ben Haddou

After breakfast, the desert adventure begins. We divide into jeeps, with a maximum of six participants per vehicle, and head toward the deep south. First, we cross the High Atlas Mountains, following the historic caravan route from Fez to Timbuktu. This leads us to the ancient fortified village of Aït Ben Haddou, once an important toll point along the trade route. We spend the night in a kasbah-style hotel built against the slope opposite the old mud-brick village.

Day 3 – Jeep Adventure Marrakech, Sahara Desert & the Coast
From Aït Ben Haddou to the Sahara Desert

Today we continue our journey further south. We first cross the Anti-Atlas Mountains and enter the Draa Valley, famous for its thousands of palm trees. We follow the Draa River, which runs through the desert and eventually flows into the Atlantic Ocean near Tan Tan in the far south. From M’hamid onward, it becomes clear why this journey is done by jeep. We drive straight through the sand to the impressive dunes of Erg Chegaga, where we spend the night in a bivouac deep in the desert.

Day 4 – Jeep Adventure Marrakech, Sahara Desert & the Coast
From the Sahara Desert to the kasbah of Tamnougalt

This morning, there is plenty of time to enjoy a spectacular desert sunrise, best admired from the top of one of the high sand dunes. After breakfast in the desert, we continue our jeep journey toward Foum Zguid and then take the inland route to Tamnougalt. Near one of Morocco’s most remarkable ancient kasbahs, we stay overnight in a charming kasbah-style hotel with a swimming pool, perfect for washing off the desert sand.

Day 5 – Jeep Adventure Marrakech, Sahara Desert & the Coast
From Tamnougalt back to Marrakech

We drive back to Marrakech across the mountain ranges of the Anti-Atlas and the High Atlas. Along the way, there is plenty of time for photo stops, short walks, and a picnic lunch at a scenic spot. Arriving back in Marrakech in the evening feels almost like coming home after our long journey. Of course, we return once more to Jemaa el-Fna Square, although it takes some time to readjust to the city’s lively atmosphere.

Day 6 – Jeep Adventure Marrakech, Sahara Desert & the Coast
To the Atlantic Coast: Essaouira

To make this already special journey even more memorable, today we travel to the Atlantic Coast. In approximately 3.5 hours, we reach the old fishing town of Essaouira by private transport, this time a minivan. Here, we enjoy the beach and wander through the charming streets of this coastal town. Freshly caught fish can be enjoyed in the harbor.

Day 7 – Jeep Adventure Marrakech, Sahara Desert & the Coast
Atlantic Coast and return to Marrakech

We have the day to enjoy the beach and the relaxed atmosphere of Essaouira, or take a long walk along the shoreline to the El Borj fort. In the afternoon, we return to Marrakech by private transport for a final evening at the unforgettable Jemaa el-Fna Square.

Day 8 – Jeep Adventure Marrakech, Sahara Desert & the Coast
Visit Marrakech – transfer to the airport

Depending on your flight departure time, there may still be time to shop for last-minute souvenirs. Your airport transfer will be arranged. If you wish to extend your stay in Marrakech, additional nights can be booked at €75 per night for a double room, €105 for a triple room, or €55 for a single room, including breakfast and tourist tax.
